Well I actually have two pointers.

  1. How I found this game is via https://www.youtube.com/@SexPositiveGaming. This is not the only channel of its kind. It's not just the creators who suffer from shadowbanning, it's obviously the consumers as well. So they organize to share what they found and liked, and creators can chime in there or get in contact with multipliers. We want to know! So running in open doors there.
  2. Another game I'm obviously not going to advertise here is seeking for people to spread the word in reddit communities. Apparently they already have realized the above strategy, just on a different platform.

I have NSFW enabled of course, and yes I was logged in. I didn't have the game yet, I heard of it elsewhere and wanted to buy it.

I highly recommend advertising off-site and providing direct links.

I find it strange that if you type the exact title in itch.io's search bar, this doesn't even appear in the results.

I'm so sick of this. People blowing each other to pieces is fine, but god forbid there's a nipple anywhere.

That'd be even better, I was thinking about the simplest option.

Btw., after this experience I tried playing a darker version of Camran (actually, a real d**k). It feels strange, like he's switching personalities. Apparently the story is intending him to be at least reasonably nice, despite offering all those unfriendly choices.

It's the very first render of simulacrum-Lilly when he meets her in Chapter 15. That means, he enters the simulation, he spots Lilly, that moment.

CHAPTER 15 SPOILERS

Resetting the simulation should be an option regardless of whether Camran decided to tamper with it. He has seen the consequences and might have changed his mind about tampering, rather than going even farther with it.

There's a wrong render when Camran meets Simulacrum-Lilly in chapter 15 without having tampered with her in Season 1. It's accidentally using the render intended for the case he did tamper with the simulacrum, albeit only for the very first frame.

CHAPTER 12 and 13 SPOILERS

Suggestion: it seems if Camran breaks up with Vess on Erigone, he's unwilling to allow her to return to the crew, even if the break-up is the only negative response he ever chooses.

But these two things are not necessarily related, let alone that closely. I think he should at least have the option to adhere to Eva's objection regarding Vess' fate.

In this particular playthrough I had Camran show interest in Vess, then discover he was actually in love with someone else (who wasn't an option until that point in the story) and break up with Vess at the next opportunity. So in that case the betrayal was more of a convenient excuse than the reason for the break-up.

While that's kind of an edge case it brought to my attention that even if the betrayal is enough reason to break-up, it's not necessarily enough reason to condemn Vess completely.

How would I know? Why would it need that much RAM? I've installed larger packages.

I tried with a fresh download, now I get "error parsing package"  instead :(

UPDATE: seems you were right about RAM. I even had to close the itch.io webpage. Then with nothing running but Firefox downloads list, it finally installed! About 2.5 GB of RAM should have been available (guess), rest is used by Android itself and FF.

Not even close.

Tried again on A 11 with v0.8c. Google file manager still says error parsing package. Total commander doesn't allow installing apk anymore.

This is so frustrating. Google needs some serious antitrust buttkick.

Update: I finally got it installed by launching the APK directly from Firefox.

Thx, but I already tried that.

3GB. Should be plenty for installation, you can fit the entire unpacked game in there. For running, may be too little, but I didn't get that far.

Can't install (v0.7b on Android 10).

Installation starts, but when progress bar is full it just says "app not installed".

Can't install (v12a on Android 10).

It starts the install then ehen the progress bar is full it just says "app not installed". Installation from unknown sources is active.

Recommendation: don't start with a wall of backstory. I know many do it, but not bc it's good, rather bc it is easy. It's very poor narrative, and also completely unnecessary. All the info comes naturally in the story when relevant, sometimes with just a lil tweak.

From a story POV, something almost happening can usually serve as a substitute for something actually happening. So I don't think it would do much harm to shortcut the explicit stuff.

I wasn't aware this is a prototype. Not sure how to react to that.

Can you please make sure all "action" is optional? Particularly Ellie, she looks like 11 to me, it's disturbing in the worst meaning of that word.

Delivered as advertised on the same day.

The download link is benign and with say Firefox in desktop mode you can download the game, which is also what it claims to be (and quite fun!). Still wouldn't recommend using the download manager.

MEGA is popular, yes. Well-known? Depends on who you ask. Trustworthy? God no. Maybe years ago. Just reading the first few google hits should give you the creeps. A download manager gets full storage and network access, which basically means they can upload your photos to the internet if they want. Definitely not qualifying for that level of trust.

What's with that prologue thing? It just links to the same apk again.

(Android) WARNING Download link leads to a website trying to manipulate you into installing a dubious "download manager".

EDIT: with enough RAM and a modern browser in desktop mode you may be able to download the game directly. The game is what it says it is, and quite fun! Careful with that download site though.

SPOILER

Text Bug (Episode 4): "Who gives a fuck" Probably Ziv's line, not cam's

Sorry about the Website. That were some amazingly fast fixes in spite of those troubles, though!

EDIT: all fixed!

UI bug: (Android) GBoard on-screen keyboard obstructs the save dialog.

Text bug: (Episode 3) 1 larva, 2 larvae. NOT "a larvae".

Website doesn't load, so I thought reporting here is still better than not at all.

Thank you for your support. That's what I thought, too, but no. I tried with a different file manager and it worked instantly. The cause shall remain a  mystery. I hope it's not blacklisted by Google.

Failed: Google file manager (all itch.io versions)

Success: Umidigi file manager

Is this compatible with Android 8.1? When trying to install the file manager just says "file cannot be opened". Also the file is not shown with the apk symbol anymore as soon as downlad finishes. Other APK work just fine. Applies to both compressed and regular, extended and free version. 20GB free storage, 4GB RAM.
